Malay Char Koay Teow

Amir B.M. Char Koay Teow.

This is a Malay version of Char Koay Teow and a delicious one found in Taman Setiawangsa but originated and popularized from Bukit Mertajam. It is different from the Chinese type as it is served with green chili pickled and the prawns with shell unpeeled. You can have it either wet or dry fried. Wet (Basah) means CKT with watery gravy. The Amir CKT is popular in Setiawangsa and also is getting popular among the Chinese community. Please go try it out and I bet you will love it too. Amir sells only during the evening. GPS location: 3.1790, 101.7436 it is just opposite Giants Setiawangsa Branch.
