Wan Tan Mee @ Tan Cheng Lock Road, Malacca

We managed to trace this listed Wan Tan Mee shop at No.40, Jalan Tan Cheng Lock, Melaka (Malacca) and were eager to sample this Malaccan style of Wan Tan noodle. We ordered for a small portion of Wan Tan Mee and the portion really came in with a small plate never seen before elsewhere (very unique indeed). A plate of a typical Wan Ton noodle. This noodle is the course type with broader and flat noodle. And the Wan Ton soup. Malaccan eats with this type of chili sauce. The air well of the Wan Ton Shop found in the middle of the building. This is part of the famous Jonker Street and it is still progressing to beautify this historical site. Wooh, this the width of the road just nice for bullock cart and trishaw in olden scene of Malacca street. There are still a lot of unrefurbished shop lots and a lot are in progress. This unit is under refurbishment and owned by National University of Singapore. Tourists in a Q visiting a well refurbished Baba & Nyonya house. That was a quick stint in the street of Malacca,
