Keong Kee 强记补品 Herbal Soup @ Changkat Thambi Dollah

I have tried several times to eat here but never suceeded. At last I came with a friend we parked at a private car park next to the stall  for RM3 (provided you patronise Keong Kee's soup if not you pay RM5.00). Keong Kee opens from 4pm until 10.30pm.
Old cucumber soup in a bigger bowl with clear soup and my friend enjoyed it.
My first chicken soup but not enough.....
Chicken in ginseng roots  洋参须  soup was my second helping.
Mui Choy Kow Yuk one of the few precooked foods at Keong Kee.
There are many more other soups that I am going to try here so if you are interested to join me please call me......

Restoran Tien Tien @ Subang Jaya Section 14

We have relatives staying in Subang Jaya, SS2 and we are staying at Setiawangsa on the other fringe of Klang Valley. We would frequent eating places around these areas during the weekends out of convenience. Tonight we are at Restoran Tien Tien, Subang Jaya for the first time, the air conditioned section is acoustically very poor the effect of noisy sound was very irritating. Well, probably this is the characteristic of a typical "Tai Chow" eating outlet in most places.
Wow...look whose office is up there!!!
The road where the shop is situated at the corner of it.
Stir fried water cress was nice, fibrous and delicious.
The popular claypot of curry fish head. Enough lemak with fresh fish, indeed very enticing.
This is one of the good deep fried pork knuckle I have tried that was tender & tasty in the inside  and yet crispy at the outer layer. Well done.
I like these balls very springy and lovely to bite fish balls in bitter gourds soup. Must try though slightly  expensive but worth it.
Steam village chicken with rice wine & wolf berry, the meat was a bit tough but I like it. In fact this shop is popular for their chicken. They serves free range chicken and also castrated chicken (yim kai).
I do not why it is called Hock Chew Tofu half the table don't think so because they are Hockchew.

TaangShiFu for Herbal Soup @ Festival City Kuala Lumpur.

Looking for a healthy and rejuvenating food  in Setapak, probably you can try Taang Shi Fu @ Festival City Kuala Lumpur. This is their 14th outlet in the country and Taang Shi Fu is originated from Johor.
Very oriental indeed.
Taang Shi Fu uses good ingredients, finest herbs and slow cook for at least 8 hours to ensure the finest is prepared for its customers.
Aumtum Tea (RM12.90) that revitalizes your skin and calms your mind. It 's slightly sweet and  nice to drink.
Refreshing tonic soup with Ginseng (RM22.90)  with Twin delights & rice.
Ning Shen Nourishing soup (RM16.90) which comes with twin side dishes and an option of white or brown rice.
The brown rice.
The side dishes that came with the soup but tasteless braised meat.
Stir fried French beans with Pu Er tea leaves and minced meat (RM15.90). It's supposed to relieve your body heat, reduces your fat & regulates blood pressure but I find it oily in this plate of veggie.
Stewed fish head with wine & Chuan Gong that supposed to regenerates "Qi" and regulate your blood circulation. The fish head was over fried and slightly oily. (RM25.90)
Longan with sea coconut (RM6.90). The ingredients does not look fresh like what you see in the menu.

Dim Sum at Platinum Plaza, Setapak @ Restoran CH Dim Sum

Setapak is fast changing with new developments sprouting for both commercial & residential. CH Dim Sum is a newly opened outlet found at Platinum Plaza along the main road of Genting Klang and is an expansion of CH's F&B investment.
Food seems to be a good business to venture there are so many food outlets opening at every new corners will they all survive? To me it's looks very risky in deed.
Anyway I found another new place to have Dim Sum. Though it's new it's still needs fine tuning in term of service and quality of food. Sui Kow is okay as eating Dim Sum here is nothing spectacular if you compare to those of Hong Kong origin.
Again Har Kow was another Har Kow that you eat and will forget about it.
So were all these Dim Sum and a good alternative or choices for morning food in Setapak.

Menu list for you to fill in & order.
Renovation is minimal and car parking space is ample in the morning.

Golfing at the Highlands of Genting

The temperature was 18° in the early morning, the Sunday was cooling with clear sky and such a wonderful day for golf though I was physically not fit to play but I was happy that I made it to finish 18 holes.
The scenery was idyllic.
At times the mist was thick and visibility was poor but fortunately just for a short while at certain holes.
Awana Golf & Country resort is a beautiful golf course and not too far away from Kuala Lumpur. The weather would be the best reason to come to this highland for a round of golf.
My playing mates were such a fun bunch and I am looking forward playing this lovely sport for as long as I can do it.

Happy golfing.
