Kedai Kopi Dan Makanan Ang Hock Bak Kut Teh, Tiong Nam KL

Looking for breakfasts has been interesting with a bicycle. I could just nip from one corner to another in the city without worry of traffic congestion and car parking and the choices of food in the city is in abundance. Here I was at Tiong Nam Settlement, off Jalan Raja Laut.
I decided to try the food at Kedai Dan Makanan Ang Hock and ordered a portion of Ka Wan (pig's leg with soft cartilage and chewy skin) mixed with spare ribs. The soup is not too thick nor too plain but just right for a decent taste of Bak Kut Teh.
It was after a short tour in the neighbourhood of Tiong Nam (also known as Tiong Nam Ku in Hokkien) admiring the old architecture of this settlement. What a pity most of the houses have been renovated and most of the original architecture features have been disturbed
This stall outside Ang Hock Coffee Shop is a popular Bak Kut Teh stall which have been endorsed by Ho Jiak 8TV serving only from 3pm - 2.00am. So if you are in need of Bak Kut Teh during this hours then do come to this stall.
Tiong Nam is actually hidden inside the busy roads of Chow Kit comprising of Sultan Ismail and Raja Laut. And one side of the settlement is Batu River.
