Restoran Yut Kee Entering into Another New Chapter

Yut Kee Restaurant has stepped into another new chapter since it was established 86 years ago now it has moved into a new premise located just behind the old place which is going to be developed into a hotel in the near future.
Everything about the food and faces serving you are the same except it is in a new building with more sitting spaces to cater to the ever huge crowd.
Though the place is new but the old kopitiam charm is still there. It is good to know that it has been now managed by the third generation and I bet the Grandfather cum founder must be very proud of the son and his grandson to carry on his legend. Well done and we will continue to be attracted by your Hainanese attraction in Kuala Lumpur.
One might take things for granted we have been lucky to be able to get such good and authentic food in KL, many have vanished the new generation is not keen to follow their old folks' foot steps. By the way the sambal is still awesome.
One of the many stuffs from the old shop that are displayed at this nice Kopitiam.
The first customer of the day everything was fresh and satisfying.
Don't come too early it only opens at 7.30 in the morning we were too early for the kopi.
I bet the cycling community would not be happy with this restriction but to be fair to the management they need to conduct their business in a more organised manner. Too many bicycles parked inside the compound could be a nuisance to others especially when we (including myself) come in a big group.
It was a Sunday where we commuted by LRT and cycled to Yut Kee for our breakfast, all the roads nearby the area were closed for KL Marathon (Standard Chatered) event. I bet Yut Kee will be swarmed with runners after the event. Good luck by then we have already had our breakfast. And all the best to Yut Kee in their new endeavor.
