A Ride To Restoran Makanan Laut Kwai Lam at Kg. Subang 桂林海鲜餐馆

This is my first time cycling to Kg. Subang though I have tried the food at the neighbouring restaurant "Restoran Chong Fue Bak Kut Teh" nearly five years back. This time around I accompanied a group of cyclists all on folding bicycles to this part of the world for a dinner.
Eight sets for eight foldies who came all the way from Bandar Utama taking a journey of about 17 kilometres to reach the place.
There were two types of sauce given, sambal belacan on the right for noodles and the other sourish one for seafood.
Yut Kwong Hor (moonlight noodle) is actually a Hokkien fried rice noodle in dark sauce as similarly done for KL Hokkien Mee. We have a double moon here.
Stir fried sweet potato leaves simple yet tasty.
Lam Yee Pai Kut - Kwai Lam's deep fried fermented spare ribs with a right cut size and it was nicely fried into gorgeous pieces of delicious ribs. Please go slow with your bites it's hot from the wok.
I don't know why the fried Bihun was not popular among us but I think it was palatable, delicious and less oily... maybe it was because it has less oil in it.
This thick black fried Hokkien Mee was the most popular among those fried noodles on the table.
Salt baked tilapia was delicious.
I found that the grilled Tilapia fish has a better taste than the baked one, I like the burn aroma obviously the fish has been perfectly burnt from the grill.
It was a good outing with a good workout and a pacified indulgence of sinful dinner. We love it and will continue to do it for as long as our bodies can take it. Cheers to all the foldies cum foodies.
